When Visiting the Cemetery

Our grounds are considered sacred places of prayer and remembrance and should be peaceful places for those who visit. We welcome and encourage families and friends to visit. We ask for your cooperation by visiting your loved ones in a reverent and respectful way so that all families may feel welcome when visiting the Catholic Cemetery.

Reverence and Respect

Our cemeteries are considered an extension of our local parishes and as such should be given the same reverence and respect as you would for a Catholic Church.

We encourage the placement of decorations and flowers in the vases of your loved ones memorial. We do regret that we cannot guarantee that items will remain free from damage or loss, and as such cannot accept responsibility for these items.

Our grounds are sacred, consecrated by the Catholic Church, and are places for families to honor their loved ones. They are places of prayer, remembrance, and respect. Some behaviors are prohibited because they disturb the sacredness of the cemetery. The following are not allowed on cemetery grounds:

  • Barbeques/Grilling
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Lawn games
  • Loud music (with the exception of mariachi during burial services)
  • Tents
  • Overnight vehicle parking
  • Pets roaming free

Eternal rest grant onto them, oh Lord, and let Your perpetual light shine upon them, and may their souls and the souls of all the Faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
